TSERIS
*Inactive Immortal*
Tseris was hatched as a mortal dragon a thousand years ago. When he
broke through his shell a burst of magical energy erupted and sent a
shockwave over the world. All dragons are creatures of magic by nature,
but Tseris began harnessing and manipulating his powers as soon as he
left his egg. He grew up to be a powerful crimson dragon, feared even by
others of his kin. He was a wicked and merciless fighter, and no
creature on the face of the world could stand up to him. But Tseris' real
power lay in his mastery of the magical arts. He eventually came to
manipulate all spell powers, not just those of the mage.
Mocirne looked down on the world from his shadowy heavens, and saw the
great dragon mastering one arcane class after the other, and decided to
bestow upon the creature true immortality. An explosion of blinding blue
light filled the air, and the ground shook with a tremendous ferocity.
Tseris' already immense body tripled in size, and he left a final
footprint on the ground, before flying up into the heavens to take his
place among the gods.
Now he stands as the patron of dragons and overseer of magic throughout
the world. Faint whisperings still abound of a magical lake formed in
the cavity of his last mortal footprint, and the power that would be
granted to the one who finds the remaining piece of the eggshell from
which he was born.
