MOCIRNE EVISCERATOR
*Inactive Immortal*
Before the world which lay before you, before the creation of the stars
which shine upon you, before the interweave of space and time, even
before the creation of space and time themselves, there was nothing.
Empty, matterless void stretched to infinity in every direction. Aeons
passed before a single quirk, an error, in the natural existence of this
nothingness caused a single, infinitesimally small point of matter to
rise into being. By rapidly absorbing and thus "feeding" upon the
emptiness around it, it paradoxically grew in size and power, until in
a matter of mere seconds had spanned and contained within itself
everything.
Thus Began the Universe.
This "existence of non-nothingness" soon gave rise to the laws of physics
and the space-time continuum. Its essence, through an eternity of trial
and error, managed to create for itself a sentient nature... it had learned
to think. As it comprised and encompassed everything, matter was created
through its very whim. Stars, planets, water, air... all were birthed
from this being. However, boredom strikes even the most metaphysical of
entities, and this restlessness resulted in the creation of what were
essentially fleshy bags filled with soft organs and visceral liquids,
with the capacities to walk and communicate and think on their own.
Thus Began Life.
However, these beings were created too perfect, as the omnipresent
universe around them, too flawless as to know the meaning of fault
or deficiency, had created a perfect paradise for their perfect
existences. All day and all night, they pranced about in the forests,
sharing bountiful feasts with one another, admidst merry laughing
and friendships filled with love and harmony. Their Creator now
became even more weary of this, and decided to produce a Being. One
that embodies the pure negation of the love, harmony and friendship
shared by all. Within his black soul lives an Evil so powerful,
that he was able to feed from the Joy and Happiness felt by the
others, and turn them into Rage and Hatred.
Thus Began Mocirne.
As Mocirne extracted the love and beauty from the world around him,
his powers grew enormously. Magic was inherent within his very
life-force, and he used this for unspeakable Evil. Many legends
exist of the horrific hell which hath befallen the inhabitants of
the world. Some were burned alive to the amusement of Mocirne, while
others were forced to sacrifice their own kin in order to save what
little remaining limbs they were granted to keep on their body. Plant
and animal life were exterminated, and the world became a barren, dry
wasteland. Corpses were raised from the dead bodies littered
all across the lands, and had a "pseudo-life" breathed into them by
Mocirne. Their intelligence surpassed that of the previous inhabitants,
yet lacked a soul, as Mocirne deemed unnecessary and burdensome. They
all shared a powerful, insatiable appetite for the blood of the living,
and with this Army of the Undead, or Vampires as they were now known
to be, Mocirne finally managed to destroy the remaining inhabitants of
the world, and could revel in the death and destruction wrought from
his own evil.
Thus Ended Life.
The Creator saw this destruction of its world and life forms occur.
While Mocirne had grown too powerful to be destroyed, the Creator
decided to do something better: grant him the power of wisdom.
True, with Mocirne's infinite intelligence, his powers were now
increased to a definite, unstoppable level. However, Mocirne now
had the Sight to realize the errors he had made. If Good were
permitted to exist, his own Evil will be made infinitely stronger.
Thus, Mocirne vowed to himself that his powers will be used to not
only spread his Evil across the land, but create the Good to
balance this out. From a particle of light, Mocirne created
Sabien the Paladin, the first creature created after the planet's
destruction, and imbued into him the powers of Light and Good.
Thus Began the Balance of Good and Evil, and the Creation of All
that lay before you.
